The Composition in this photograph is that she has relied on the colour of the dress against the grass so that the dress stands out more. I like the way the curve of the dress makes the dress come out at the bottom of the photograph, so that the eye consentrate on the dress that leads me looking at the lady. This photograph is so simple but its so dramatic at the same time, Also the fact that her skin is so pale against the dress, And how her body is curved.

Depth of field is the amount of distance between the nearest and farthest objects that appear in acceptably sharp focus in a photograph. A preferred selection Depth of field ("DOF") in a focused subject in an image can be quite subjective. Remember this, adequate selection of DOF for one situation, application may be unacceptable for another photographer. It is all a matter of personal preference when trying to determine the appropriate use of DOF to enhance an effect in a photograph.

The depth of field I can see the people but I can see really far out to the horizen line. I think this is a good photograph as I can see the distance and this photograph has a lovely calm feeling. Also this photograph makes me want to relax. This photograph also has great lighting. I think this photograph has natual lighting and not artifical lighting.



            

Focal Point x

Focal Point =  'focal point' is the part of the photograph that grabs your eye first or the object that the photographer wants to stand out from the rest of the photograph.

This photo has been taken by 'Annie Leibovitz'. A famous photographer who takes photograph's of famous people and she also takes portrait photograph's. All the photograph's she has taken are not just of famous people they are people who have a close relationship with friends or family.

In this photograph it has good lighting, I think this photograph has been taken in a a flat or her house. I think the 'focal point' in this photograph is her and the position she is in. Its the first thing that I notice in the photograph. I personally like this photograph as its really simple and has an easy 'focal point'.

The light in this photograph has been used well. Leibovitz has thought carefully how to take this photograph and how to make her hair and top look dark and her face and body look lighter. This photograph has been done in black and white so the photograph stands out more than if it was in colour. I love this picture as it stands out clearly and the fact that the model has an even tone to her.This lighing is called arifical lighting, And also the photograph has been taken in a studio.

Asthetic: I love this photo as the white horse is standing to perfection.
